Top Ukrainian Official Says Schiff Witness Gordon Sondland Lied Under Oath

In his testimony before Adam Schiff and his seven dwarfs, Gordon Sondland said that he discussed the quid pro quo deal with Andriy Yermak, to aide to Ukrainian President Zelensky and that he told him that Trump expected them to open investigations into the Bidens Before he would release the $400 million in aid.

Yermak says that never happened and that he and Sondland never met each other alone. He said they did bump into each other at the elevator but they just discussed how well the meeting had just gone.

President Zelensky has already denied being pressured several times. The only people who are saying Ukraine was pressured are Democrats.

And their credibility is as solid as a handful of sand.

Yermak said:

“Gordon and I were never alone together. We bumped into each other in the hallway next to the escalator, as I was walking out.

And I remember — everything is fine with my memory — we talked about how well the meeting went. That’s all we talked about.”

Sondland’s testimony was very rough as if he were making it up as he went along. And he well may have considering what Yermak is saying.

Sondland also frequently deferred to the testimony of others, saying that he had no reason to doubt their recollection of events he was involved in, even if he could not remember them himself. Additionally, Sondland submitted revisions to his closed-door deposition after the fact, saying his memory had been refreshed by the testimony of other witnesses after his own.

The House Intelligence Committee relied heavily on Sondland’s testimony to bolster their case that President Donald Trump committed impeachable offenses.

Yermak’s claim lines up with what Zelensky himself has said multiple times — that there was no quid pro quo arrangement with President Trump involving military aid or a White House meeting.
