VIDEO: Iranians Refuse to Disrespect United States, Israel, Walk Around Flags Painted on Pavement

Video uploaded to Twitter shows Iranian students attending Tehran’s Behesti University carefully walking around the United States and Israeli flags after they were painted on the pavement.

As tensions between the governments of the United States and Iran remain tense following weeks of escalations following the death of an American citizen in an Iran sponsored attack and the attack of a United States Embassy by Iranian allied groups, the people of Iran appear to refuse to participate in the Islamic Republic regime’s hatred of the United States.

Video posted to Twitter shows Iranian students carefully walking around the flags of the United States and Israel, with only a few students walking on the flags, even after years of the Iranian government referring to the United States as the “Great Satan.”

The video was posted by Iranian independent journalist Mamlekate.

“Today, the crowd in an Iranian university refused to Trample US and Israel flag #LoveBeyondFlags.”

Mamlekate continued, “These IR ideologies, like forced hijabs, are falling one by one.”

This comes after days of sustained protests against the Iranian regime that have been supported publicly by President Donald Trump on Twitter.

President Trump tweeted, in both English and Farsi, to support the protesters over the weekend.

“To the leaders of Iran – DO NOT KILL YOUR PROTESTERS. Thousands have already been killed or imprisoned by you, and the World is watching.”

“More importantly, the USA is watching,” added President Trump. “Turn your internet back on and let reporters roam free! Stop the killing of your great Iranian people!”

President Trump sent another tweet on Saturday that he stands with the Iranian protesters.

“To the brave, long-suffering people of Iran: I’ve stood with you since the beginning of my Presidency, and my Administration will continue to stand with you.

President Trump added, “We are following your protests closely, and are inspired by your courage.”

Many foreign policy experts predicted that Iran would face protests after President Trump ordered the attack that resulted in the death of Iranian Quds General Qasem Soleimani, as it would cause the Iranian government to be perceived as weak and unable to protect its military.
