Wendy’s Suspected Arsonist, Rayshard Brooks’ Girlfriend Wendy White, Released on $10k Bond

On Wednesday, the woman who has been accused of setting fire to a Wendy’s restaurant in Atlanta after the police-involved shooting death of Rayshard Brooks, Natalie White, was released from jail on a $10,000 bond after she was arrested on Tuesday.

White’s lawyer, Drew Findling, did confirm that White is the woman Brooks was talking about in his conversation with police officers before he was shot to death outside the restaurant, FOX 5 of Atlanta reported.

A prominent Atlanta attorney, Findling informed the news station that he has known White, 29, since she was eight years old and insisted that she was innocent of the arson charge.

“Natalie did not set that Wendy’s on fire, I want to make that point clear,” he said.

But then he confirmed, nevertheless, that White is the woman seen in the FOX 5 footage who was igniting an aerosol can just before the restaurant went up in flames.

Oh, my!

Lawyers are no different from politicians.  They can tell you a story with a straight face, like how their client was spotted in a video lighting an aerosol can right outside the restaurant, but was not the one who started the fire.

Other rioters were seen in the video breaking windows.

Magistrate Judge Todd Ashley granted White her release pending further legal action. The University of Georgia graduate was additionally ordered to stay off social media while her case is decided.

White was identified as the suspect on Saturday, and city fire investigators requested a warrant for her arrest.  She was then taken into custody Tuesday not long after the Brooks funeral, FOX 5 reported.

Protesters gathered outside the Fulton County Jail on Tuesday evening, demanding White’s release.

Body camera footage of the the officers speaking to Brooks before the shooting show that Brooks told the officers he could go to his girlfriend’s house nearby, and he named White.

“You know, Natalie White, she’s my girlfriend. She left. I said, ‘Baby, I’ll get Wendy’s and then I’ll go back …'” Brooks can be heard saying in the video.

Police shot Brooks as he ran away from them when he pointed a stun gun, that he stole from one of the arresting officers, at them.  He fired it at one of the officers and that’s when he was fatally shot.

According to Georgia law a taser gun is a lethal weapon, but the crooked Atlanta DA charged the shooting officer with murder anyway.

The shooting death is what sparked the restaurant being destroyed by rioters, got the police chief reassigned, and both arresting officers fired and now charged with crimes.

Democrats are not living in the same world as the rest of us.
